Well it's been awhile since I've posted anything on here so I thought I would spend a few minutes tonight.
I've been doing a lot of Hydro-Ax work lately with my newly purchased Caterpillar 259D compact track loader. It usually takes around 8 hours per acre depending on the thickness of the underbrush and how much or little the customer wants removed.
Once you have the underbrush removed you can change attachments to a root rake grapple and quickly clean up and remove the stumps and rootballs. It's a quick removal and it's relatively dirt free so if you wanted to do so you could burn or pile for composting.

It's getting hot and hopefully the rains will let us get some work completed.
My kids are doing great and I recently added a new machine to the company, a caterpillar 259D compact loader. It's really helping out in time and costs which add up for me as well as the customer. I have several ponds to dig and new home pads to do in the next month it's going to be a really busy next few months!! Hope everyone is doing well

Well we made it through the great Icepocalypse these last few weeks, hope everyone has been staying warm.
My little family has been doing great our daughter is 5 months old next week and my son is doing great.
I have been working in Needville Tx doing a one acre pond with a two acre pad site these last month and it has really turned out great! As many may not know the soil in that area is a black gumbo type the first few feet and can be quite sticky and hard to spread and give a smooth finish. We have been fortunate to have some small rain showers to wet the gumbo and help break it down to help really smooth things out. I will be adding some pictures soon as I get them off my [email protected]
Stay warm and safe

Well its been a great month so far, on Tuesday the 10th we added a wonderful baby girl to our family. Madison Ann was born at 12:45 pm on Tuesday at 8lbs11ozs and 20" long. Her and her mother are home and both are doing great. Our son Joseph turned two on Friday the 6th and is not quite sure who his new housemate is lol.
On a different note we recently cleared and cleaned up four acres for Greg and Sharon Grepares in Hockley in the Century Oaks community. The worked turned out great, we used a mulcher to clear the underbrush then removed any dead trees or ones that were going to be in the house pad area. When using a mulcher its important to go behind and blade off the area to remove the stumps and stobs created by the mulching processas to inhibit regrowth. In doing so we cut down on the haul off needs by and estimated 50-60% , while being eco friendly to the beautiful large Oak trees on the property. This job turned out wonderful for the Grepares family and we look forward to doing the pad for the house soon.

Well I haven't posted anything lately, thought I would just do a update of whats been going on for me since February. The last week of February I started working for a gentleman Tommy Jim Henderson with the Uno mas Ranch in Artesia Wells Tx. Its 10,012 acres and change, I have been all over the entire ranch and still haven't seen 3/4 of it I am sure. I am basically cleaning put dry stock tanks, widening roads and cleaning up just about anything with my D6R dozer.
It is definetly different than working in Houston. In the first few weeks I had some illegals come out of nowhere on me and added a gun rack to my dozer to hold my AR-15 lol. I have found about a half dozen arrowheads and just been working my tail off. I will say that the trees and brush down in South Tx will all stick you cut you or leave a thorn in you. I have seen all kinds of wildlife and having hunted South Tx all my life I am really enjoying my time down there but really want to wrap it up so I can be home and see my wife and son everyday!! My son is now 8 months and crawling and the Dr. said last week thats he is doing great and will be walking way soon!!!! This week I am doing a riding arena over on Virgie Community and should have that wrapped up by end of week!!! Thanks everyone for the last few years and don't forget to keep your hometown people working.

Well we all survived the holidays and the new year is off to an awesome start!!!
We finished up the JC Inspections project with Sierra Construction last week, it was a few weeks behind due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances but it turned out awesome and we and the customer couldn't be happier with the finished product.
I know I have missed a few emails and phone calls from some customers and I want to appologize if anyone felt that I wasn't up to par on my attention to their needs.
I am headed down to Artesia Wells this weekend to meet with Mr. Tommy Henderson to discuss the cleanout of 13 existing tanks on the Uno Mas Ranch and possibly adding 8 more to hold rainfall in the south pasture of the ranch. Its going to be a great weekend with business on Friday and some hog hunting after we concluded our meeting.
Our son is doing great he is 18 lbs and 26 inches tall now and eating some solid foods mainly oatmeal and sweet potatoes witgh bananas next week!!!
